PROJECT: ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN - REAR COVER + WEB BANNER AD
Valor Fitness advertisements require using stock photography in combination with product photography. For this ad placement in the international CrossFit magazine Box Life Magazine, Valor wanted to present their new bumper plate design, chalk, and chalk station.
I found a stock photography image of an athlete conducting a lift that would be ideal for both communicating the usage of lifting chalk as well as presenting the new Valor plate design (The artwork on the plates I designed and now are in production.) Using Photoshop I combined images to create a successful ad.
Part of this campaign included web banner ads on a 3-week rotation within the BOXLIFE Magazine website. For banner ads of this size my philosophy is to ensure the brand is seen; however, get to a point of action with simple visual elements that capture the intended audience’s attention. Because this ad is targeted toward CrossFit athletes bumper plates and kettlebells were used with a shop now call to action.
